- Guidelines for Gender Equality
The Guidelines are based on a complex work of collection and assessment of practices developed in Europe, North America and Australia, resulting in a database of gender equality programmes in science and technology. The Guidelines will be useful for universities, research centres and other stakeholders to implement a new institutional cultural change for a greater inclusiveness of women scientists, and the improvement of the working conditions of women (and men) on their premises. These Guidelines will be also useful in achieving our ultimate objective: to make the differences and peculiarities of male and female researchers the main strength of the European Research Area, the source of creativity and innovativeness.

The database contains information on 109 programmes for the promotion of women in decision-making positions in science and technology sectors.
- Synthesis document on the good practices database
The aim of this paper is to present the database, in its current state. The document is divided into nine sections, the first regarding the institutional framework. Section 2 gives a quick overview of the theoretical approach adopted by PRAGES, while section 3 gives a brief summary of the work involved in producing the database. The presentation then moves on to the contents of the database. To this end, we will focus on the "sociographical" characteristics of the programmes listed (section 4), and the criteria used to assess quality (section 5), analyse impact (section 6) and identify benchmarking elements (section 7), presenting in each section some of the results achieved. Finally, a description will be given of the criteria used to assess programme transferability (section 8) and database structure and use (section 9).
